UT Level U/14 girls Volley Ball Tournament concludes
District Rajouri thrashes District Kathua by 3-0 sets in finals

DODA, Feb 21: The UT Level District Volley Ball Tournament for U/14 girls concluded today with District Rajouri winning the final match.
The tournament was organized under the patronage of Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K Dr. Saleem-ul-Rehman and District Development Commissioner Doda Dr. Sagar D Doifode and under the overall supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Jaffar Haider Sheikh.
Additional Superintendent Police (ASP), Master Popsy was the Chief Guest, while District Information Officer (DIO) Mohammad Ashraf Wani was the guest of honour at the concluding function. District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Doda Jaffar Haider Sheikh, ZPEO Bhalla Pritam Singh and I/C ZPEO Doda Kishori Lal were also present on the occasion.
The ASP Doda interacted with the students and highlighted the benefit of sports for their overall personality development.
The DYSSO said that the main aim of organizing this tournament was to nourish the sports talent & develop team spirit among the youth.
The matches were witnessed by a huge gathering of students of local school. A cultural programme was also presented by the girl students.
In the First Semi Final Pool-A match, District Kathua defeated District Doda by 2-0 sets and in 2nd semi final Pool-B match, District Rajouri thrashed District Kulgam by 2-0 sets.
Later, the ASP, DIO alongwith DYSSO Doda presented trophies and Certificates to the winner, runner-up teams and Staff members.
The Programme was hosted by Koshal Sharma REK and District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jaffar Haider Sheikh presented vote of thanks.
The event was attended by Tariq Hussain Malik PEM, Vinod Kumar PEM, Vijay Kumar PEM, Vikram Singh PEM, Zaffarullah Khan BM, Anjum Riaz PET, Salma Rozy PET, Shaheena Begum PET, Vijay Kumar REK , Rajinder Singh REK and Ifroz Hussain NYC.
The matches were officiated by Babita Devi PET, Satya Devi PET, Neeraj Kumar PET, Kuldeep Kumar PET, Jai Shree PET, Musassir Batt PET, Murtaza Qadir PET, Imran REK, Rohit Bandral REK, Ishtiaq Ahmed REK, Pawan Kumar REK, Manju Manhas REK, Veena REK and Khalid NYC.
