RAJOURI, Feb 21: A seven-day long exhibition of National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) scheme concluded today here at ITI, Ground. The valedictory function of the exhibition was attended by Vice Chairperson, Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB), Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shavan besides officers of KVIB and other concerned departments were also present on the occasion.Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat while speaking on the occasion said that such exhibitions bring positive stride towards the development and upliftment of the SC and ST community. The Vice Chairperson said that the Government has taken slew of measures to ensure their upliftment and such awareness camps and exhibitions are organised for that purpose. She added under NSSH many such exhibitions and other programmes will be conducted on regular basis across Jammu and Kashmir. Later, Vice Chairperson KVIB and DDC Rajouri visited the stalls installed in the premises and inspected the products displayed by the SC ST entrepreneurs. Different departments like Animal and Sheep husbandry, Sericulture, Agriculture, Handicrafts & Handloom and others also displayed their instruments, products and print material during the exhibition. |
