CD hospital re-starting routine OPD soon

JAMMU, Feb 22: A meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal Govt. Medical College and Associated Hospital Jammu to discuss the modalities for restarting the routine functioning of Chest Disease (CD) hospital, Jammu.
Principal GMC & AH reviewed the covid-19 situation. and after a threadbare discussion, it was decided that the CD hospital will start functioning in a phased manner for the management of non covid patients.
In the first phase, the routine OPD and diagnostic facilities will start and indoor patients shall continue to be admitted in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Gandhi Nagar Jammu. It was also decided in the meeting that the CT scan of covid patients shall be done at CD hospital and CT scan of non- covid patient shall be done at Govt. Medical College Jammu. Earlier CD hospital was being used for the management of covid patients. This arrangement shall be subject to review and all the Sops/ roasters and guidelines regarding Covid-19 management shall get re-operationalized in case of a resurgence of Covid-19 pandemic. The meeting was attended by Administrator, GMC and AH, HOD and Medical Superintendent of CD & TB hospital Jammu.
