e-Dogri Kavi Goshthi held

JAMMU, Feb 22: Nami Dogri Sanstha organised "e-Dogri Kavi Goshthi" which was compered and presided over by known Hindi and Dogri poet Sushil Bhola. The kavi goshthi was concieved by Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS, planned by Capt Lalit Sharma convener NDS and supervised by Harish Kaila President NDS.
Poetry on wide range of topics was recited by Dogri poets. The participating poets include Sushil Bhola, Balwan Singh Jamwal, Usha Kiran "Kiran", Randhir Singh Raipuria, Shambu Ram Pyasa, Tarsem Mahajan, Sudershan Kumari, Jatinder Jolly, Neelam Sharma, Mohan Lal, Surinder Gharotia and Arun Sharma Banathia
Kulbhushan Singh Jamwal extended vote of thanks. Those who attended were Anupama Sharma, Shashi Arora, Ram Kishore Uppal, Nidhi Kaila Choudhary, Sanjiv Sharma, Chanchal Sharma, Dupinder Singh, Kalpana Gupta Rattan and Kusum Sharma "Antra".
Sushil Bhola in his presidential address said that the poetry recited in the goshthi truly represent the ethos, aspirations and flavour of Duggar and Dogras besides human sentiments. His literary appreciation of each poetic item read was lauded by all the participants.
Lalit Sharma said that if perused properly, history, geography and literature of the area in particular provide insight and guidelines to the concerned dispensations for better governance and administration.
