Five persons arrested including two constables of RPF with fake appointment orders

BARAMULLA, Feb 22: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested five persons including two constables of Railway Protection Force with fake and forged appointment orders.
According to the police statement that, on a specific information Police station Baramulla arrested five persons namely, Hafizullah Lone S/o Gh. Hassan lone R/o Diver Lolab, Ashiq Hussain Naik S/o Ghulam Nabi Naik R/o Kralgund Qazigund Kulgam, Ather-ul-islam S/o Ab Samad Lone R/o Devar Lo lab Kupwara, Ajaz ahmad lone S/o Abdul Gani lone R/o Tujer Sharif Sopore and Abdul Rashid Wani S/o Abdul Aziz Wani R/o Nagbal khag Budgam. There five persons were arrested after we got specific information that have duped many people with fake and forged appointment orders in the Agriculture Department and we have registered a criminal case under FIR no: 17/2021 u/s 420,467,468,471 IPC. During the course of investigation it came to fore that a gang is operating from Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla in which two constables of Railway Protection Force Budgam, running a fake Job racket and duped so many persons and collected hefty amounts. During the course of investigation of the case five persons have been arrested and three fake orders have been seized so far from the possession of accused persons. Investigation of the case is going on, further arrests and recoveries are expected. It is pertinent to mention here that in the past as well many people were arrested by the police and other investigating agencies in Jammu and Kashmir who were found involved in issuance of fake and forget appointment orders. There is a huge unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir and to lure the well qualified youth, some selfish people are taking advantage of their innocence and mints hefty amounts from them after issuing fake and forged appointment orders.
