Jammu, Feb 22: An interaction cum orientation programme in respect of 2019 batch PSIs was held at Conference Hall, DPL Jammu. Several officers of JKP were assigned different topics to address the young PSIs.
IGP Jammu Mukesh Singh, took the inaugural address and encouraged young officers for their future duties.
After this, SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil, imparted valuable knowledge regarding professionalism in policing and how it will aid police officers in excelling while discharging his duties of field work. Consequently, SP City North P D Nitya, gave an impressive lecture on how to control drug abuse and its present scenario, upcoming challenges, ways to tackle them and Dy.SP Hqrs Swati Sharma, JKPS shared her views regarding media handling and management. Furthermore PSIs were also acquainted with various policing tactics such as Cybercrime trends, Investigation Skills, Community policing, law & Order Management, Smart policing etc. |
