SRINAGAR, Feb 24: As many as eight panchayat members from Shopian joined Apni Party (AP) in Srinagar, a spokesman claimed here on Wednesday evening.
He said the Panchayat members who joined AP included Bashir Ahmad Itoo (Panch-Kungno), Ghulam Mohammad Shah (Panch-Melhora), Amir Ali (Panch-Wachi), Lateef Kaloo (Panch-Aloopora), Abdul Hayy (Panch-Narwani), Musadiq Hussain (Panch-Wachi), Abdus Salaam Reshi (Panch-Wachi) and Manzoor Ahmad Reshi (Panch-Wachi).
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, AP Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas impressed upon them to work for welfare of the common people in their respective Panchayat Halqas and fasten the pace of rural developmental projects. |
