2- day long IEC workshop concludes at ICDS Samba

SAMBA, Feb 24: The Two day Long IEC workshop for Frontline Workers organized by ICDS Department, Samba concluded today here at Vijaypur.
Following the first day schedule, another roaster of around 120 Frontline Workers were trained on the topics of Panch Sutras of POSHAN Abhiyan, Growth Monitoring, Malnutrition and Maintenance of MIS Registers on the day 2.
The event was attended by District Program Officer, ICDS Projects Samba, Anu Behl, Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur, Chander Parkash Kotwal, CDPO Vijaypur, Madhur Anand, Supervisors and Ministerial staff of ICDS Samba. During the Workshop, Frontline Workers also displayed a Stall on the Pre School and Educative materials that are prerequisite in the Anganwadi Centers as a learning aid. In her address, Anu Behl highlighted the importance of reorientation training of the Frontline Workers towards their duties. She also referred to the recent budget of 2021, in which a major thrust was laid upon POSHAN Abhiyan. Further. " Our emphasis is to curb the communicable diseases like TB for which a renewed mission mode is to be launched along with POSHAN PAKHWADA in the month of March" , she added. The Vote of thanks was presented by Child Development Project Officer, Vijaypur.
