SAMBA, Feb 24: Dist rict Police Samba seized 5 vehicles including 1 dumper and 4 Tractor Trolleys in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba, which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material.
A Police team of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, intercepted 5 vehicles including a Dumper bearing Regd. No JK21E-7905 & 4 Tractor Trolleys one having Regd No JK21F-1622 and other three without Regd No for illegal mining and illegal transportation of construction material from Basantar River bed, Samba.
All the 5 vehicles intercepted by Samba Police were seized on spot and cases entrusted to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action. |
