JAMMU, Feb 24: Director Industries and Commerce Department, Jammu, Anoo Malhotra today visited the Industrial Growth Centre, Phase II, SIDCO, Samba to inspect various industrial units.
During her visit, she met with prominent industrialists and discussed with them about various issues of the Industries. She also visited and inspected the ongoing works of Common Effluent Treatment plant and directed the concerned to speed up the construction work.
Later, the Director also visited District Industries Centre, Samba and checked the working of DIC and helpdesk established for UDYAM registration and GEM Portal. She appreciated the efforts of General Manager DIC Samba in spreading awareness about UDYAM registration and GEM Portal and directed to cover all the industries for UDYAM registration and to spread awareness regarding GEM Portal to all the industrialists.
