AJAY SHARMA
Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Feb 25: An Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Public Health Engineering Department in this frontier district has not been transferred for the past 16 years in clear violation of the transfer policy.
Sources in the department informed Early Times that the AEE has very "strong connections" that's why he has been not been transferred for so long from Nowshera division.
"Although engineers in all wings of the department were transferred but he has been sticking to his chair with the blessing of his superiors. It seems he has got this post permanently," they informed.
They said that the AEE not being transferred for 16-years is a clear violation of the transfer policy of the government which envisages that the employee of any rank should be transferred after completion of two years at one station or maximum three years in special cases.
A senior official of the PHE Department, when contacted told this correspondent to send all details of the AEE and assured that he would inquire about it and appropriate action will be taken vis-à-vis his transfer.
