JAMMU, Feb 26: A meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal Govt. Medical College and Associated Hospitals to discuss and review the various issues regarding site plan of works approved under economically weaker section ( EWS) quota (UG). It was apprised to the Principal that the site for the construction for additional lecture halls and examination hall has been selected.
It was apprised to the members in the meeting that DPR for construction of auditorium and cafeteria including parking, store lifts and ramps etc at CD Hospital, Jammu is ready and amount for the construction has been sanctioned by the Government. It was also decided in the meeting that the construction of additional floor of central library shall start soon as all the formalities are complete. It was decided in the meeting to demolished existing quarters for the construction of boys hostel for EWS students. Meeting was followed by the inspection of the sites for construction.
For the construction of the nursing residential quarter at GMC, the particular site was found stable in consultation with engineering wing. PMC directed the concerned XENs to start the construction at the proposed sites as soon as possible.
Meeting was attended by Administrator GMC & AH, Dy Director Planning, MS GMC and CD hospital, XEN mechanical, AEE civil and PDD. |
