Govt Polytechnic College Jammu hosts webinar on AC Machines

JAMMU, Feb 26: Government Polytechnic College Jammu in collaboration with Kamaraj College of Engineering & Technology, Madurai conducted an online webinar on “AC Machines” for the students of Electrical engineering Department.
Around forty students of the Electrical Engineering department participated in the lecture given by Dr. D. Prince Winston, HoD and Er. D. Mariappan, Asstt Prof, Electrical Engineering, Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai.
Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Jammu, felicitated the gathering with his information about the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” initiative of Government of India and activities for promoting national integration through systematic exchange between the paired institutions, Government Polytechnic College, Jammu and Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai in cultural, literary and linguistic fields introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development .that can be carried out.
Dr. D. Prince Winston, HoD, pointed out the central Government’s “Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme”, for Jammu & Kashmir Polytechnic and School Students, in which the students can join for higher studies in engineering and Technology in Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai. Er.Sanjay Gupta, HoD, Dept. of Electrical Engineering welcomed the gathering, Er. Shokat Ali, Coordinator, EBSB Club, Government Polytechnic College, Jammu organized the event. The webinar concluded with the thanks note presented by Er.D. Mariappan.
