JAMMU, Feb 26: The implementation of Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB- PMJAY) - SEHAT, scheme was today reviewed by Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal Govt. Medical College and Associated Hospitals, Jammu, here at Super Speciality Hospital.
The meeting was informed about the functioning of AMRIT, while the Incharge stores, was directed to ensure availability of all the drugs and consumables as per the requirement provided by the hospital.
The meeting decided to constitute a committee to shortlist the vendors for providing drugs, consumables and procure stents, Pacemakers and other consumable from authorised vendors at the rates fixed by the Government. After a threadbare discussion on refunding out of pocket expenditure to the beneficiaries of SEHAT programme, it was decided that in such cases the hospital may authorise to do DBT in the beneficiaries account.
The meeting decided to go for bulk purchasing of instruments/consumables in the operation theatres for the smooth functioning of the urology department.
The PMC was apprised that the provision for bulk purchase of consumables and medicine used in Dialysis and in the cardiology department has already been implemented.
It is pertinent to mention that the Open Heart Surgery will restart as it was not being done for want of repair and replacement of certain essential mechanical equipment.
The Meeting was attended by Administrator GMC & AH, HOD Cardiology/CTVS/Neurosurgery/Nephrology/ Neurology, MS SSH, DMS SSH and Consultant Anaesthesia SSH. |
