JAMMU, Mar 2: In a series of lectures on various welfare schemes of BSF, the BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) Frontier HQ Jammu conducted a lecture-cum-workshop on the topic of "Educational Benefits and Career Counseling for the BSF Wards", which was taken by R S Rawat, AC, Account Officer, BSF Jammu Frontier. During the discussion various issues / queries raised by BSF wards and families were addressed. On this occasion information about BSF educational facilities, BSF Schools, Technical Institutes, Scholarship Schemes run by BSF and Government of India were provided to participants during the camp. Career Counseling for the Wards of deceased was also given to the families which were present during the lectures cum workshop. On this occasion BWWA Jammu President, Rajni Jamwal said that such type of programmes immensely helps to create awareness among the BSF families and are very beneficial for overall devolvement and progress of BSF wards who are perusing higher studies and career. |
