School teacher forces students to remove pants as punishment

UDHAMPUR, Mar 2: In a shameful incident here today, a private school teacher ordered two boy students of 8th class to remove their pants as punishment.
The incident took place at Vinayak Public School in Bharat Nagar of Udhampur town and the parents of the boys are demanding stern action against the erring teacher whom locals identify as one Abhishek son of Gopal of Barrian.
Sources informed that the teacher asked the students to remove their pants and then took their videos threatening them to upload the same on social media.
The incident has anguished the entire town as the videos went viral following which the school suspended the teacher after the local Municipal Councillor Preeti Khajuria raised the voice against his shameful act.
Principal of the school said, "I have suspended the teacher immediately as and when matter come to my knowledge."
When contacted the ASP Udhampur Rajinder Katoch said that strict action will be taken against the erring teacher for the heinous offence.
Till last reports people in the town were full of resentment and have demanded arrest of the erring teacher.
Many activists have said that the education department should keep a strict vigil over such educational institutions in order to check certain wrong doings many of which go unreported.
