Senior citizens’ club appeal senior citizens to get vaccinated against Corona

Udhampur, Mar 2: The third round of corona vaccination has been introduced into public domain for senior citizens by the government of India free of cost in government hospitals.
Availing this opportunity, the Senior Citizens’ Club Udhampur took a lead in consultation with CMO Udhampur Dr. K C Dogra, and governing body, advisory board and other members and co-members of the Club along with their elderly family members took first dose of Corona vaccination in District Hospital Udhampur.
While interacting with media president of the Club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal said that as senior citizenry was under strict instructions from Government to move lesser outside their houses as the immunity is always weak in this category of population, the vaccination doze will give them relief from this mental agony.
Moreover the Corona cases are again uprising across the world and it is a matter of pain and agony for one and all.
Jamwal appealed to all the senior citizens to come forward for availing this facility for their own health and well being. He also appealed to follow the corona guidelines of wearing a mask and using hand wash as a protective measure.
On the occasion the Club also extended its sincere thanks to the government of India, Medical scientists, district administration and especially health workers who are rendering their services for the best cause of the society.
