Seminar on communal harmony, national integration held

RAJOURI, Mar 3: 75th seminar on National Integration, Communal Harmony and Gandhian Philosophy held in the premises of Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School, Sial Sui, Tehsil Kalakote, Distt. Rajouri.
The seminar was organized by Lekh Raj Raina, organizer of Peace & Harmony of Tehsil Beri Pattan, Distt. Rajouri, under the chairmanship of Tahir Hussain Shal, Principal of the school and Guest of honour Kuldeep Singh, Retd Lecturer.
Staff Members of Hr. Sec. School along with 400 boys and girls of the school, surrounding schools and some social activists of the area were present in the seminar. 10 students of the school spoke on the subject with their speeches, songs and poems and highlighted the values of communal harmony.
Tahir Hussain Shal, Principal of the school stressed upon the gathering that communal harmony is essential for the overall progress of the country. Lekh Raj Raina organizer of the seminar in his welcome address recited a beautiful poem on the topic communal harmony. While speaking, he laid stress that the path of peace and harmony lead towards the God, adding that the message of non-violence and truth given by Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, is the real path of unity. Raina also distributed his booklet on communal harmony written by him and prizes to the staff and students, who participated in the seminar.
