JAMMU, Mar 3: A deputation of All J&K Graduate Engineers Association, Civil(GEASSOC) led by Gandeep Pargal visited Civil Secretariat as a follow up action for promotions at all Levels and Regularization of services of Engineers in R&B as well as Jal Shakti Deptt.
A meeting was held with Principal Secretary, PDD Rohit Kansal to issue letter to fill vacancies in JKSPDC as per vacancy position in contrast io Cadre strength defined in JKSPDC out of J&K Quota from Jal Shakti Deptt. GEASSOC was assured that letter will be issued within a couple of days for filling up these vacancies from Jal Shakti deptt. Principal Secretary also talked telephonically with Managing. Director, JKSPDC to ascertain present vacancy position.
A meeting was also held with Additional Secretary, R&B, HRM Shahid Mehmood regarding vacancy position at all levels to gear up the process of promotions to check stagnation. Regularization status of services of engineers and other issues were discussed in depth. Association was apprised that Regularization process in R&B is in full swing. Lot of regularizations have been made in the past and many more in the pipeline whose results will be visible shortly.
