30 sites identified for Covid inoculation in Doda

DODA, Mar 3: As many as 30 sites have been identified for carrying out Covid vaccination in District Doda. District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of all concerned stakeholders and reviewed the progress of Covid vaccination and testing, besides implementation of Covid-19 protocols in the district.
The DDC informed that the district is about to kick-start the vaccination drive at macro level and has identified 30 vaccination sites across the district. He said a team of five officials would be deployed for each site which includes Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, security official, health officials and Data entry operator. The vaccination of Persons above 60 years and above 45-59 years person with co-morbidity would inoculated in the beginning, he said.
The DDC directed the Asha coordinators to supervise the vaccination at each site, besides directed them to achieve the targets already set by the administration without any fail.
Further, the DDC directed the BMOs to monitor the progress of vaccination on daily bases and ensure the same is entered on the Google sheet which has been already devised.
Adding to this, the DDC directed all the Asha coordinators/workers to start door to door visit in their respective areas to ensure vaccination of all the people above 60 years and person above 45-59 with comorbidity on priority basis.
While reviewing the testing, the DDC directed the SDMs and BMOs to expedite the testing in their jurisdictions, besides directed them to ensure strict implementation of Covid-19 protocols which includes wearing of face mask, social distancing etc.
The DDC also directed all the SDMs and PO ICDS to ensure that all their staff shall be vaccinated in the upcoming days.
The DDC also directed the ZEOs to ensure that all the Covid-19 safety measures are implemented in the schools which includes frequent hand washing, social distancing, wearing of face masks by the students, besides asked them to ensure random sampling of the students of elder age groups.
