DDC Rajouri listens to public issues on Block Diwas at Doongi

RAJOURI, Mar 3: Continuing the endeavours of the District Administration to resolve the long-standing issues of the public and address their developmental concerns, the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shavan today listened to the public issue on Block Diwas at Block Doongi. Specific issues projected on the occasion include completion of work on water supply scheme at Jatote, shortage of PHE pipes, completion of work on Keri to Shahpur bridge, construction of road from Shahpur to Khanka Dhera, the road from Tridwal to Jatote, the road from Kallar to Sawani, sanctioning of old age and widow pension etc.
In his address, the DDC said that the aim of holding such public interaction programmes is to take stock of the public grievances on the ground level so that necessary relief can be provided to them with the redressal of their genuine issues and demands.
DDC informed that such programmes shall also be replicated at the panchayat level. He said that proper documentation of all the grievances projected today has been done and a detailed review of the action taken report will be reviewed in a separate meeting of all the concerned officers.
