DYSSO flags-off 5 day trekking Camp of 50 girl students from Padder

KISHTWAR, Mar 4: District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma, today flagged off the trekking camp of 50 girl students from BVM Paddar. This contingent of 50 girls students left for trekking from the Base camp BVM School Padder towards the 1st destination Affani Paddar.
The DYSSO said that the main aim of organizing these events is to improve the overall fitness of the students and to hone the sports skills of the students of far-flung areas.
The DYSSO thanked Principal BVM School Afani Balwan Singh for his co-operation by providing the School building which is used as Base Camp for the trekkers.
He asked the trekkers to enjoy the event and follow the SOPs of Covid-19 & directed the organizers to ensure the safety of the students and provide then best boarding and lodging facilities in & outside the base camp.
It was informed that the tracking will be performed on daily basis from the base camp BVM school Afani towards *Khadail* from the very 1st day, The trekkers will visit Hanswar water fall, Laie, Juklla,Gow and Tatta Pani.
DYSSO informed that during trekking days different physical activities will be performed like campfire at Base camp with cultural activities, speeches on Swachh Bharat Abiyan, Save electricity, save water and on Moral education.
The trekkers under the guidance of PETs Savatri Devi,Babita Devi,Sapna Chowhan, Sangeta Devi, Salma Butt, Harnesh Singh and Raj Singh start their Journey towards Khadail with full enthusiasm.
