Dulhasti Power Station organizes plantation programme

KISHTWAR, Mar 4: Dulhasti Power Station organised a tree plantation programme at the Power House campus at Hasti site with an objective of discharging its obligation and creating awareness about environmental protection and increasing greenery in the power station campus. Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station welcomed the Chief Guest of the program Shri Ashok Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar and Special Guest Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta, Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar with a sapling on their arrival at the venue. Later on, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta, Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar and Nirmal Singh, General Manager (in-charge), Dulhasti Power Station started the program by planting saplings.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Police appreciated this initiative of Dulhasti Power Station and called on everyone to contribute more in environmental protection by planting more and more trees. General Manager (in-charge) thanked the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar and Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar for attending the programme.
Further, Vijay Kumar, Divisional Forest Officer, Marwah, Dr. Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), R.N. Sharma, General Manager (Civil), Dulhasti Power Station along with Rahul Kumar, Commandant, CISF, Dulhasti Power Station and Hukum Singh, Range Officer, Kishtwar Forest Division and other Senior officers and employees of power station also took part in the programme and planted 125 pine saplings.
On this occasion, G.C Sinha, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Gursharan Singh, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Vidya Nand Das, Deputy General Manager (IT), Sanjay Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Finance), Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (H R) along with other officers and employees of Dulhasti Power Station, CISF personnel and officers from District Administration were also present.
