Plus 2 Officers Association take up important issues before Administrative Secretary

Jammu, Mar 4: All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association held a meeting in Jammu under the president ship of Prithvi Paul Raina and decided to take up all the important issues of the cadre before the Administrative Secretary immediately for consideration and favourable action.
The Association appreciated the actions taken by the Administrative Secretary with the close cooperation of both the very capable and honest Directors for favor of the SED in general and plus 2 cadre in particular, also it thanked the team SED which is working for the improvement of the department.
The Association also applauded the efforts of Chief Secretary, Advisor and Lt Governor for taking keen interest in overhauling the department as it has been a need of the hour to rejuvenate it being a very important department which deals with the very raw and talented lot to shape their mind in right directions.
J&K Plus 2 Officers Association demands include ACP to Plus 2 Lecturers cadre @ 6600,7600 and 8700 be sanctioned and released as per the other counter parts in all other Departments getting since long, 2456 Lecturers be placed as Sr Lecturers as per SRO 481, 1/ 3 rd sanctioned strength of Lecturers 10970 equal to 3656 but we are having only 1200 Sr Lecturers at present out of 3000 as per lists upto 2013,( 1800 already got promoted and working as incharge Principals at different places since long ), consideration and issuance of SRO Regarding Promotions as Principals @ 80 % from Sr Lecturers, 10% from ZEOs and 10% from Lecturers with Ph.D .Qualifications as there are about 400 vacancies of Principals among many others.
