| Patient accuse Gynaecologist GMC Rajouri of negligence | | | Rajesh Tandon

Rajouri, Mar 4: Leveling serious allegation an expectant mother and her family members have accused a gynaecologist at GMC Rajouri of negligence in discharging her duties by asking the patient to arrange the wrong blood group without conducting blood group test for her operation.
A patient, Menakshi from Dangri Rajouri district was admitted for delivery but the doctor without going through the report asked the patient as well as the attendants to make arrangement of A +ive blood group despite the fact that the blood group of patient was B +ive.
The gynaecologist Dr Sangeeta has been accused of negligence by many other patients also. They alleged that the doctor is hardly available in the hospital despite being given the date of delivery to the patients. It has also been observed that she is indulged in private practice and creates such circumstances for the patients so that they are compelled to go for delivery in private nursing homes.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri said that he would inquire about the matter and appropriate action will be taken. |
