Navreh Premier League Season 2 inaugurated at Ambgrota

JAMMU, Mar 6: Today Season-2 of Navreh Premier League started at country cricket stadium, Ambgrota.
The cricket tourney was inaugurated by Chief Guest, SDPO Akhnoor Mr Varun Jandiyal. He was accompanied by SHO Ambgrota Mr Khyatimaan Khajuria as Guest of Honor.
In this tournament 10 veteran teams of Jammu will be participating and total number of 23 matches will be played including 2 semi-final and 1 Final.
SDPO Mr. Varun Jandyal appreciated the organizers for starting the cricket tournament which is great way to engage the youth. He said that police will fully encourage and support that more such sporting events are organised and local talented youth play and get a platform to showcase their skills. The first match of the tournament was played between Vitasta and JMCC.
JMCC won the toss and elected to ball first. Vitasta scored 143 runs in their 20 overs at the loss of 9 wickets. In reply of 143 JMCC won the match by 9 wickets. Ashwani Sharma scored 52 from 35 Balls. Man of the match was Rajeev Dhar who took 3 Wickets in his four overs. In second league match between FCC and Vinayak Cricket Club (VCC) Friends Cricket Club won by 9 wickets.VCC batted first and made 107 runs. Friends Cricket Club completed the target in 13 hours.
