Two books of devotional poetry by Santosh Tiku 'Santosh' released

JAMMU, Mar 6: Two books of devotional poetry by Santosh Tiku 'Santosh' were dedicated to public on the occasion of Hara Ashtami in an impressive function organized by Bhagwan Gopi Nath ji Satsang Mandal. One book entitled SAMARPAN is a collection of Kashmiri devotional poems of Santosh, while as other book entitled PRERNA consists of devotional poems in praise of Baghwan Gopi Nath Ji and Gods is in Hindi language .
The function was presided over by Swami Ram Chander Giri Ji Maharaj , an imminent saint and scholar ,and Smt. Piyari Malla , a noble personality from the family of Baghwan Gopi Nath Ji was Chief Guest on the occasion .Apart from a sizeable number of devotees of Baghwan Ji , others who were present on the occasion included Dr.Sushil Wattal, Prof .Hira Lal Ganjoo and Satish Chander Razdan , who read a paper on the released books .The proceeding of the function were conducted by Vijay Wali.
Speaking on the occasion Santosh Tiku 'Santosh', a poet of substance and an reputed Artist and senior theater activist, who has already a book entitled Sabwan Sayi to his credit, threw light on his passion for writing devotional poetry and his mystic experiences with regard to writing devotional poetry .Those who spoke on the occasion praised efforts of Santosh Tiku 'Santosh 'in restoring the ancient tradition of devotional poetry , especially in Hindi and Kashmir languages .
The first book entitled Samarpan contains 211 poems on subject various aspects of devotion towards God and truthfulness, while as another book in Hindustani language entitled Prerna is based on various facets of devotion to gods and total surrender to him and contains 105 devotional poems including some poems dedicated to Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ji Maharaj.
