2-Day Kho-Kho tournament concludes at GDC Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Mar 6: The two Day long Kho-Kho open tournament for men & women being organized by Management of District Kho-Kho Association Udhampur concluded today here at Government Degree College Boys.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Udhampur Sargun Shukla was the chief guest and Dy Sp Head Quarter Sahil Mahajan was the guest of honour and Station House Officer, Chanchal Singh and Station House Officer, Women Cell Udhampur Isha Mahajan were the special invitees at the valedictory function.
Earlier, President District Kho-Kho Association Advocate Sanjeet Bavouria welcomed the chief guest and presented the report on the tournament and expressed his gratitude to College Administration and all others who contributed directly or indirectly to make this tournament successful.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest complimented the organizers for the successful conduct of the tournament. She said that such tournaments give a platform to the budding players of the District and encourage the sports culture for a healthy society.
In women category: Flying club Udhampur defeated Government College for women Udhampur by one inning and 03 points. In Men's Category Parivartan club Udhampur 02 defeated Parivartan club Udhampur 01 by 07 points.
Later, the chief guest distributed prizes and certificates among the winners as well as participants on the occasion.
Among others, Prop Rippy Bawa, Manager Sports Stadium, Shaktesh Chopra, General Secretary J&K Kho-Kho Association, S. Harjeet Singh, Senior Vice President J&K Kho-Kho Association, S. Bhupinder Singh, District Secretary, S. Menender Singh, District Treasurer, Rakesh Khajuria, Organizing Secretary, Sanjay Sharma, District President Volleyball Association, Raj Guru, Principal Happy Model Higher Secondary School, Muneesh Gulati, District President, Kabaddi Association, Tanveer Sheikh, President District Badminton Association, Suresh Khajuria and other members of different Associations besides players were present on the occasion.
The matches were supervised by Raman Kumar, Raj Kumar, Pooja Sharma, Radha Devi, Monika Sharma, and Jagdev.
