PWD invites tenders of many complete roads in Poonch, probe demanded

POONCH, Mar 6: Although Prime Minister Narinder Modi wants the nation to become corruption free but the officers are not cooperating in this regard. There are many officers who deliberately want to make this mission of PM un-successful.
Sources said that Executive Engineer of Public Works (R&B) Department is inviting tenders of those roads which have been completed. Although department has invited tenders of some already completed (earth worked) roads in Qasba village of Poonch, Dhara village of Mandi, Fazlabad of Surankote, many roads in Mendhar but Executive Engineer of the department Parvaiz Amlak has said, "such tenders have been invited before his joining he has no knowledge of the same."
He has assured to take action after public complaint in his official comment. Locals have appealed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to constitute a committee of the neutral officers of different departments to investigate the matter and book the negligent and involved officers of the matter. Executive Engineer PWD in this regard further said, "on public complaint, he will take strict action against such scams".
