JAMMU, Mar 6: The maiden meeting of the Advisory Committee constituted by the J&K Dharmarth Trust in consultation with the council members having being approved by the Chairman Trustee, Dr Karan Singh ji was held at Amar Singh Club Jammu, here today.
On the occasion, Dr. Vishwa Murti Sharma, Former Principal Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya and renowned Sanskrit Scholar was unanimously nominated as the Chairman of the Advisory Committee.
The newly appointed members of the Committee who marked their presence included Dr Shiv Raina, Famous Astrologer and Public Figure; Maj. Gen. S K Sharma, AVSM (Retd.); Surinder Mahajan President, Raghunath Bazaar Businessman Association; Prof. Veena Gupta, Former HOD Department of Dogri, University of Jammu; Chartered Accountant Joginder Singh, Former Director, J&K Bank Ltd; Praveen Sharma, President, Public Opinion Forum; Anmol Rattan Sethi, Chairman Mandirs Committee; Vijay Saraf, Prominent Businessman and Public Figure; Shailendra Aima, Educationist; Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, President, Criminology Society of India (J&K Chapter); Pawan Shastri, President, Jammu Yatri Bhawan; Bharat Choudhary, Prominent Businessman; Sanjeev Prabhakar, Prominent Public Figure; Satpal Sharma, President, Yog Sansthan; Anil Sharma, President, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal; Siddharth Sharma, Former Council Member, J&K Dharmarth Trust; Sandeep Kumar, Prominent Social Activist and M.L Mehra, Retd. Senior Superintendent of J&K Police were felicitated by Ajay Gandotra, Advocate, President J&K Dharmarth Trust. SureSharma, Retd District Judge, also attended the proceedings as a special invitee and he too was felicitated by the President. The proceedings of the meeting were concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Varinder Jamwal, Additional Secretary of the Trust.
