Shiv Sena to organise Shoba yatra on Mar 9 to mark Mahashivratri

Jammu, Mar 7: The Jammu and Kashmir unit of Shiv Sena Bal Thackeray will organise Shoba Yatra on March 9 to mark the celebration of auspicious festival of Mahashivratri.
Addressing a mediapersons here today, the Jammu and Kashmir unit of Shiv Sena Bal Thackeray president Manish Sahni informed that the Shoba yatra will be taken out on March 9 on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.
“The Shoba yatra will be taken out in the main market of Udhampur,” he added.
He also said that a bhandra will be organized at party office.
Manish Sanhi also asked party workers supporters take part in the procession while adhering guidelines issued by Union Ministry of Family and Health Welfare to combat the spread of COVID-19.
He further urged administration to make appropriate arrangements in temples across Jammu region as Mahashivratri important festival.
Manish Sanhi hoped that the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri will bring the peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. Other who present included Vikas Bakshi, Sanjeev Sharma, Ashwani Parbhaar, Anil Vijay, Imtyaz Hussian, Ramesh Verma, Vijay Singh Charakh and Vishal Verma.
