NDS conducts online "e-Dogri Kavi Goshthi"

JAMMU, Mar 23: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) conducted online "e-Dogri Kavi Goshthi" which was presided over by eminent music composer and president NDS, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila and the proceedings of the "Poetic Meet" were ably conducted by Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS who also critically evaluated each and every poetic item read.
The Dogri poets who presented their poetry include Shambu Ram Pyasa, Sunaina Kaila from Udhampur, Jagdish Raj , Neelam Sharma from Basohli , Kalpana Gupta "Rattan", Sudershan Kumari, Dr Vijay Puri, Jatinder Jolly, BS Jamwal, Dr Susheel Bhola, Kusam Sharma "Antra" from Udhampur.
Prominent among those who listened and appreciated the poetry online comprise Prof. Anupama Sharma Patron Youth Wing NDS, Advocate Nidhi Kaila Choudhary, Dr. Chanchal Sharma, Sanjiv Sharma, Gp Capt Devinder Singh, Wg Cdr Dr Deepak C Dogra and Capt Lalit Sharma Convener NDS.
Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila in his address said that Dogras will have to stand United to save and propagate our mother tongue Dogri and the Duggar culture to sustain our identity. He appealed the inhabitants of Duggar to wear Dogra dress at least once a week on any day they like so that existence of Dogras also remains visible. Capt. Lalit Sharma Convener NDS said that Dogras have a proud and golden history and appealed to the youth to read it to feel proud of their heritage and remain motivated and connected with Dogriat.
Vote of thanks was extended by Dr Susheel Bhola an eminent Hindi and Dogri poet.
