| GCOE inaugurates orientation programme for new students | | |

Jammu, Apr 6: Govt. College of Education, Jammu inaugurated a three day Orientation Programme for the new students. The programme is organized to equip the students with the basic knowledge and understanding of the functioning of the college and its different activities.
Dr. Kulwinder Kour, Principal GCOE welcomed all the students and in her address she acquainted the students with the different activities that are being planned for the upcoming session
The programme started with the welcome address by Prof. C L Shivgotra followed by detailed deliberations on the curriculum aspects of the two year B.Ed programme by Prof. K.K. Mangotra. A prize distribution ceremony was held in which certificates were distributed to the senior 4th semester students for actively participating in the college activities. An introductory session was held in which all the new students gave a brief introduction about themselves.
Others present on the occasion included Dr. Mandeep, Dr. Sushma Bala, Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Prof. Satish Sharma, Dr. Shubhra Jamwal, Prof. Shalini Rana, Prof. Deep and other staff members. The programme successfully coordinated by the NSS volunteers of GCOE. |
