Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 7: National Investigating Agency (NIA) probing much publicised sensational murder case of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar, his brother Ajeet Parihar, RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and his PSO Rajinder Kumar today seized the house belongs to one Nishad Ahmed at Huller village situated in the outskirts of Kishtwar town.
According to details available with Early Times, NIA sleuths assisted by the Kishtwar police reach village Hullar and seized the house where as per the NIA officials- the militants hatched the conspiracy- the house also holds the hideout constructed beneath water tank on the roof top of the house where Nishad use to reside and was jointly busted by the Kishtwar police and NIA last year.
The development comes after Jammu and Kashmir Police had on September 23 last year arrested Hizbul Mujahideen militants -- Nissar Ahmed Sheikh, Nishad Ahmed and Azad Hussain- in connection with the murder cases of a senior BJP leader and an RSS functionary in the region. Both the killings had triggered protests in Kishtwar.
The killings were part of a conspiracy to revive militancy in Kishtwar and were hatched by longest surviving Hizbul Mujahideen commander in the area Jahangir Saroori, active on the area since last three decades.
The hideout was constructed by
Rustum Ali who according to the officials is a meson by profession and use to construct hideouts for the militants including the one used by the killers of Parihar brothers and RSS leader inside the house of Nishad Ahmed which was today seized by the NIA as a part of investigation into the case.
The House was part of the meeting where the conspiracy was hatched by the Hizb carder to eliminate the BJP leader and RSS functionary with an aim to create communal unrest in communally sensitive Kishtwar District.
Rustum was also arrested by Kishtwar police in the month of January last year for being a part of OGW network providing the logistic support to the militants and was later released on bail from the court as a part of decongestion of jails due to COVID 19 pandemic.
Talking to Early Times, senior police official confirmed the seizure of the property of jailed Hizb militant Nishad Ahmed added that it is purely NIA's operation and Kishtwar police only assisted them in the seizure operation by providing the security cover to the visiting team.
