Medical awareness camp held

JAMMU, Apr 8: On World Health Day, 2 J&K Girls BN, NCC Cadets of G.C.W, Parade Ground, Jammu organised one day medical awareness camp inside the campus,in which paramedical team of Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital was invited in the college
Dr. Jitender Gupta (MO) gave an awareness lecture to the NCC Cadets and other staff members of the college about "how and why to protect ourselves?".
After this, the NCC Cadets under the supervision of paramedical staff distributed free immunity medicine to staff and other students of the college .
NCC Cadets also visited orphanage with healthy immunity body building fruit and food for them. Also another activity was performed by the NCC Cadets, a sanstha " Bhartiya Yog Sansthan" was invited in the college to make all students and staff members aware about the benefits of yoga in living a happy life .
Col. Virender Singh Jamwal (retd.) executive member and yog manjri parbhari bhartiya yog sansthan JKUT gave an amusing lecture to the gathering and taught them about no. of yoga asanas and their benefits to human body .
Nearly 40 NCC Cadets took active participation in the programme , also some NCC cadets shared their views over this topic.
