COVID-19 vaccination camps intensified at Bani; 130 residents vaccinated

BANI, Apr 8: To contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, several corona virus vaccination camps were held at CHC Bani, PHC Dhaggar and Sub Center Mandrera here today.
The COVID-19 vaccination camp was held on the directions of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bani Dr Balkari Lal whereat more than 130 people were vaccinated with the first doze of the vaccine. The camp was held under the supervision of ZMO PHC Dhaggar, Dr Anchuk.
People from far flung areas had come for the vaccination and were given the first shot. During the camp, all the people who were given the shot were advised to remain in utmost care and take precautions against the deadly virus.
Dr Balkari Lal said that deadly pandemic has engulfed the whole world and killed millions of people so, there is a emergency to contain the spread of the virus and following the guidelines advised by the Heath and Medical experts is the best way to keep the virus at bay besides people should come forward and get vaccinated primarily so that the virus is eradicated from here.
People were also made aware of different SOPs and guidelines agitation the virus while focusing on the putting on a make a must.
Dr Anchuk and Dr Rameshwar Singh appealed to the people at large to adhere to the SOPs issued by the administration from time to time and cautioned them about the dire consequences as number of positive cases is still rising in J&K besides in India.
Among those who were present included Dr Rameshwar Singh ZMO Koti Chandyar, Pharmacist Nisar Ahmed, Hardev, Pharmacist SDH Bani; Tanvir Ahmed Pharmacist, Nitan Sharma pharmacist, Tripta Devi FMPHW and Arti Devi.
