DODA, Apr 8: District Development Council Chairman, Dhananter Singh Kotwal today chaired a marathon meeting to review the implementation of key schemes, ongoing developmental projects, besides took appraisal of the ongoing covid vaccination in the district. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, SE PWD, Hydraulic, Chief Medical Officer, Ex En PWD, PDD, PMGSY, besides BMOs and AEEs.
The DDC Chairman took sector wise review of ongoing developmental works taken up under CRF, NABARD, Languishing projects, Back to Village, JJM, District Capex. The inquired about expenditure incurred, funds available, bottlenecks, if any, targets set and achieved etc.
The DDC Chairman directed the executing agencies to make concerted efforts to achieve the set targets and make themselves more accountable towards the general public. He said that these schemes are meant for the welfare of the people living in the far off places as well as in the urban areas and need to be implemented with utmost sincerity and dedication.
Meanwhile, the ADC Doda directed all the departments present to submit their progress as well as plans to the DDC Chairman's office on priority. He asked the health department to put in extra efforts to achieve the targets set for daily vaccination and testing. |
