Pouni, Apr 8: Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav is a series of events to be organized by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence.
While starting celebrations Government Degree college Pouni also organized an essay writing Competition on the topic “ India’s Economic Development Since Independence”. About 35 students of college participated in this Competition. Students from Departments of English, Dogri, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu languages expressed their ideas on mentioned topic. The competition held under the supervision of Balbir Kumar, Tarseem Kumar, and Jaspal Singh, Sapna Sharma, Bindu Sharma, Reyaz Ahmad Reshi and Manshad Begum were jury members whom selected three top position of this competition. Certificates of Participation will be awarded among top three position. Rajni Bhagat Principal GDC Pouni was chief patron of this event. |
