RAMBAN, Apr 8: Department of Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs today conducted a market checking drive in Ramban Bazar.
A joint team of enforcement departments conducted the drive under overall supervision of Assistant Director FCS&CA, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Bhat.
The team, headed by Tehsil Supply Officer, Ramban Ab. Majeed Wani, along with police officials, inspected several establishments like mutton, chicken, milk and kiryana shops, besides vegetable and fruit vendors and booked the erring traders and realized a fine of Rs. 3300 from them. The TSO instructed shopkeepers to display rate lists and sell commodities on the rates fixed by Department/Associations. Moreover, different business establishments were also made aware about different rules and regulation of the department in vogue.
The enforcement teams advised shops and business establishments to adhere to the COVID-19 SOPs and other preventative measures issued by the Government to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infections. |
