Govt Nursing College, Gandhi Nagar, observes “World Health Day”

Jammu, Apr 8: The Govt. Nursing College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu observed “World Health Day” in collaboration with super specialist Hospital, Red Ribbon club and indian public Association (IPA), J&k chapter. The various activity conducted by B. Sc. Nursing students were focussed on the theme “Building a fairer health world” based on the Global warming and safe motherhood Various projects has been made by the BSC Nursing students Noise pollution Water pollution Air pollution rangoli speech competition also..
Lastly principal of nursing college Prof. Indra moza forwarded that message “stitch in time saves tha Nine” I.e primary prevention is the basic concept for healthier life style and awareness among youth regarding drug de- addiction, global warming and safe motherhood were the focusing points.
Also Mr Sadiq khan (officer information Technology Health and medical education department. SSH) Ms Nancy Nausheed (infection control Nurse SSh) , Ms Anamika sharma (covid incharge SSH) And nursing teaching faculty of GNC also expressed their views focussed on theme.Event came to an end with the vote of thanks and refreshment arranged by the principal and staff of the college.
