Rajouri, June 19: Continuing his mission to augment facilities for the people of his area, District Development Council member, Thanamandi, Abdual Qayoom Mir, KAS (Retd) kick started black topping of Azmatabad road today, which was the long pending demand of the public.
On this occasion, people in large number including prominent dignitaries, Sarpanches and Panches were present to mark the occasion.
While addressing the public, DDC member said that an amount of Rs 1.30 crores shall be incurred for road black topping and population of more than five thousands persons would be benefitted. He assured the gathering that his doors are always open for the people and every step shall be taken to come upto the expectations of public in Thanamandi. Earlier a rousing welcome was accorded to Abdual Qayoom Mir by people to express their solidarity with DDC member, who is considered as a man of masses in the area.
