OBC Deptt JKPCC distributes energy drinks, masks among needy

JAMMU, June 19: In a programme held in the presence of President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Ghulam Ahmed Mir, the activists of OBC Department of JKPCC headed by Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra distributed energy drinks to the needy people on the occasion of the birthday of Rahul Gandhi.
The senior leaders of the party including Raman Bhalla, Mula Ram, Ravinder Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Manmohan Singh, Rajnish Sharma, Balwan Singh, Kanta Bhan, Indu Pawar and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Ahmed Mir applauded Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra for his selfless service to the downtrodden. All the leaders wished for the long life, good health and happiness for their national leader Rahul Gandhi and also praised his farsightedness and selfless service to the nation. The distribution drive was conducted under the directions of All India Congress Committee with the instructions to celebrate it with keeping in view the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic while service to humanity and distribution of essentials to the needy people was also emphasized by the AICC.
Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra, Chairman OBC Deptt JKPCC said that “The distribution of masks, energy drinks, medicines and food to the needy and poor shall be a continuing process by my team in different districts of Jammu region.”
The others who were present included Som Nath Verma, Vishal and Surjit.
