KATHUA, July 29: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Yadav today accorded sanction and released an amount of Rs. 4.40 lakh out of Red Cross Fund as relief to the next of kin of those who died and injured in Billawar Matador accident victims.
An amount of Rs. 1 lakh each was sanctioned in favour of the next of Kin of two deceased persons and Rs. 10,000 each to the 24 injured persons.
It is pertinent to mention that two persons died and twenty four persons were injured in a tragic accident, when a matador on way to Katli from Billawar turned turtle at Zero Morh near PWD Guest House in Billawar yesterday. |
