Plantation drive conducted in various schools of Reasi

REASI, July 29: A plantation drive was conducted by Education Department in various schools of Reasi district along with Forest Department led by DFO Reasi.
DFO Reasi, Jyotsana, Range Forest Officer Reasi Vijay Kumar Verma and Block Forest Officer Reasi Sugam Bral actively participated in the drive wherein plants of various species were planted at GHS Pouni, GMS Sungal and GHS Kambal Danga under the supervision of Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Teacher and volunteer who is carrying out mega plantations in various schools of District Reasi with the mission of making Green Schools.
CEO Reasi, Mohd Aziz congratulated the entire team led by volunteer teacher for contributing in mega plantations across the whole district.
Range Forest Officer Reasi, Vijay Kumar Verma also encouraged the endeavours of teacher for his extraordinary efforts in promoting and popularizing the environmental awareness among masses in urban and rural belts including hilly terrains too.
On the occasion tree guards were also installed around the freshly planted saplings.
Shobha Sharma, Sunaina Kapoor, Jugal Kishore, Daljit Kour HM, Daleep Kumar Master, Sunil Kumar Teacher, Vijay Kumar Panch, Manan Sharma, Bhopinder Singh Guard, Romesh Kumar Raina Beat Guard Pouni, Pritam Singh Forest Guard extended all support in making plantation drive a grand success.
