Shiksha Niketan organizes poster making competition on “World Hepatitis Day”

JAMMU, July 30: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar Jammu conducted an online Inter School “Poster Making Competition” for Class 6th students on “World Hepatitis Day”. The aim of this competition was to promote the knowledge of students and spread awareness about the risks of toxis use and also to make the World Hepatitis Free. World Hepatitis is an initiative by the World Health Organization and is observed on 28th July every year. It also aims to reduce the Diseases and death caused by Hepatitis consumption.
The various sister concern schools of Shiksha Niketan including Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar Jammu, Shiksha Niketan High School Gandhi Nagar and R M Public School Sainik Colony Chowadhi with two students from each school took part in this competition. All the students performed with keen interest and enthusiasm.
The competition was judged by Harveen Kour as a staff nurse at CD Hospital. Amongst all of the six participants in this poster making competition, 1st position was bagged by Raghav Gandotra of R M P S, 2nd position was bagged by Palak Dogra from SNS Gandhi Nagar and Aditya Kumar from SNS Jeevan Nagar got the 3rd position.
The Principal of the school, Rameshwar Mengi appreciated the efforts of the concerned teachers for their initiative and guidance to prepare and inspire the students for expressing their thoughts and views through their creative writing skills.
