| Dogra Degree College organizes webinar on “Role of Business Analyst” | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, July 30: A webinar was organised by the Dogra Degree College, Bari Brahmana, Samba, on the topic “Role of Business Analyst” for students as part of their Development Programme in collaboration with Sunstone eduversity. Around 70 students from Management and Commerce department took part in the webinar, which discussed the various issues pertaining to role of business analyst focusing on scope and status as project manager, user requirement as business user, expectations and constraints when dealing with other stake holders, functional and non-functional requirement as part of testing and as software developer, business requirements as project sponsor.
The resource person for the day was Prof Soumitra Chakraborty, a certified trainer with more than 28 years of experience as an educator and corporate professional. In the webinar Prof Soumitra discussed at length the role which a Business Analyst could play.
The participating students found the lecture engaging and interacted with the resource person to clarify and seek more detail on the topic of discussion. Over all it was a great knowledge sharing platform. The formal vote of thanks was moved by Arushi Salathia. She expressed sincere thanks to the management of Dogra Degree College for encouraging the students to engage in academic endeavors through webinars and seminars in the current COVID scenario and thanked the speaker profusely for his deliberations and faculty too for participating in the webinar. |
