| Congress’ role momentous to make India prosperous: Hari Singh | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 30: Hari Singh Chib President DCC Jammu Rural on Friday said that contribution of Congress is colossal in making India a prosperous country. He was speaking during a health camp organized to distribute golden health cards for insurance plan worth Rs. 5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat scheme which is running in UT as J&K Sehat Scheme here at Sacred Heart College of Education in Raipur, Domana. He was accompanied by the senior Congress leader Som Nath Sharma besides Virender Mehta and Tarun Vaid, party’s District office bearers. Hari Singh said that the people should avail maximum benefit of the government schemes as it is their right and responsibility also because all the schemes envisaged and implemented by the government are meant for overall progress of the country.
The senior Congress leader said that the people are enjoying the fruits of development and progress today because the Congress governments in the past have toiled hard to make India progress, prosper and propel to new heights.
“India’s standing in the world is the contribution of Congress Party though the same has now been devastated badly by the blindfolded BJP Government under which the progress chart of the country is dwindling shoddily,” he rued.
