KATHUA, July 31: District Disaster Management Committee Kathua today approved 45 cases and sanctioned Rs 25 lakh relief in favour of the disaster affected persons under SDRF norms here at its meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav.
Present in the meeting were Additional District Development Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (R), Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, besides Tehsildars.
A total of 45 relief cases of damage to houses, cow sheds and crops in Tehsil Hiranagar, Marheen, Basohli, Bani, Billawar, Ramkote and Lohai Malhar due to floods, landslide and other natural calamities were cleared under SDRF norms.
Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav directed the revenue officers to expedite all the pending cases to facilitate early disbursement of relief as admissible under SDRF norms. |
