Sadbhavana pledge ceremony organized at IRP 19th Bn HQ

KATHUA, Aug 21: A grand "Sadbhavana Pledge" ceremony was organized at IRP 19th Battalion Headquarters Kathua in which officers and jawans of all the companies of the Battalion participated and took pledge, strictly adhering to Covid guidelines.
Commandant IRP 19th Bn SSP Benam Tosh administered Sadbhavana pledge to the officers and jawans in Hindi, interpreted the ingredients of the pledge and elucidated in detail the relevance of taking this pledge in the present times.
While explaining the meaning of the pledge word for word, Benam Tosh said, "Sadbhawna Pledge" we have taken today has two parts: firstly, we will work for emotional oneness and harmony of all regardless of caste, region, religion or language and secondly, we will resolve all differences through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence."
He advised his colleagues to wholeheartedly work for emotional unity among people of all communities, inhabitants of all regions of the country, followers of all religions and people speaking any languages and for putting in sincere efforts to sink the differences among the people, whenever arise.
SP Santok Raj, Deputy SP Kuldeep Raj Tripathi and other officers also threw light on the ingredients of Sadbhawna pledge and ask the fellow jawans to fulfill the great national objective with exemplary enthusiasm.
Officers and officials, who have been in the forefront in ensuring communal harmony, were also felicitated on the occasion.
