Fashion show Mirchi Queens concludes

JAMMU, Aug 30: Mirchi Queens, Jammu's first of its kind fashion show, for all the women of Jammu, took off in the beginning of August, with the intention of promoting all-inclusiveness and body positivity among the females of Jammu and concluded.
Kyra Resultra, a student of Class 12th Winning the Title of 'Mirchi Queen 2021'.
Initially, entries from all the participants were invited on the social media handles of Mirchi Shwetima, 98.3 Mirchi's morning jock and Programming head, more commonly known as Jammu di Kudi and Mirchi Simran, 98.3 Mirchi's new afternoon jock, more commonly known as Jammu ki dhadkan. The response from the women of Jammu was overwhelming as females from not just all over the city, but nearby districts too took a keen interest in the activity.
The Semi-finale round was organised at 98.3 Mirchi's Jammu office where all the selected 65 participants were invited to display their flair and talent for the same. Present at the screening was Maansi Gupta, Director MG design school and Mirchi queens event co-ordinator, who screened the shortlisted 65 participants and based on her assessment, selected 20 finalists. All the shortlisted participants took part in this round with full enthusiasm and displayed a variety of skills, which included ramp walk, dancing and singing performances. The selected 20 finalists then walked the ramp at the final leg of the event.
The finale of the event was conducted at Garden estate, Trikuta nagar which started with the host of the grand finale, Mirchi Nishant, 98.3 Mirchi's evening jock, more commonly known as Jammu ki aawaz, welcoming all the present with applauses and filling them in on the activities of the event so far. The event was conducted with full pomp and splendour and all the finalists took the ramp in high spirits and full fervour.
The finale consisted of multiple rounds where in the participants dressed up in Indian as well as western dresses and displayed their talent and personality in the presence of everyone present which included Miss Sana Dua, First runner up Femina Miss India 2017, Founder Image and beyond by Sana Dua as the Chief gguest and made everyone awestruck with her Show Oepning Walk. The special guest for the event were Mrs Sunaina Sharma (KAS) and Anissa Nabi (KAS) from the J&K administration. Panelists for the event included Sana Dua, Assistant District Magistrate Mr Rakesh Dubey, famous Singer Anjusha Sharma, MTV splitsvilla fame Arushi Chib, Samarthya Gupta and 98.3 Mirchi Jammu's Station director Mr Sumit Kakkar. The enthusiasm of all present got further up with four wonderful women whose presence changed the gibe of the show and made everyone believe in the Magical Aura a Strong Women possesses, the women invites as Mirchi's special guests included India's first Para rower Kritika khanna, Indian Power lifter Upasana Mahajan, jammu's Tattoo artist Diva Kapoor and Entrepreneur and cancer warrior Dr Zinnia. The jeat of the event further went uup when Yoga enthusiast & Wild villa fame Agriya bhatia, Mirchi quarantine queen 2020 winner Simran Singh Wazir, Fashion blogger and fitness enthusiast Yashica Malhotra, Fashion designer and influencer Mohini Gupta, Influencer Muskan Mahajan, and India's Miss TGPC second runner up Movneet walked the Ramp. The event further got spiced up with Singing performance of Our Panelist & daughter of soul Anjusha Sharma, followed by Shumalini & Kamakshi .
